Celebrating the Movement- The MassCOSH Annual Event

On December 10th, MassCOSH will hold our 32nd Anniversary Gala- Celebrating the Movement, featuring international food, music, and a silent auction.

At 6:00pm, Attorney General Martha Coakley will be honored with a special award... other award recipients include: Don Boehner- United Auto Workers Int'l, The Alliance for a Healthy Tomorrow, Robert Naparstek, M.D., Tyrek Lee- 1199SEIU, Montenegro Construction Workers.

As an added benefit for sponsoring the event and becoming a MassCOSH member, MassCOSH is holding a pre-party, starting promptly at 5 PM— featuring VIP guest, Channel 5 reporter Rhondella Richardson as well as complimentary cocktails and appetizers.

*Directions From the South:

  • Take 93 North to Exit 14/Morrisey Boulevard (JFK Library/UMass, Boston).
  • Stay heading north on Morrissey Boulevard toward Dorchester/South Boston.
  • Pass UMass, Boston on your right, and stay straight.
  • As the road splits, stay to the right.
  • You will pass Boston College High School on your right, and then the Sovereign Bank building also on your right.
  • At the light next to the Sovereign Bank building, take a right onto Mount Vernon Street.
  • Take an immediate left into the driveway for the Doubletree Hotel, then another left into the parking lot for the Bayside Office Center.
  • Parking is available in any of the surrounding lots.

Directions From the North:

  • Take 93 South to Exit 15,Columbia Road/JFK/UMass
  • Take a left off the exit ramp and proceed to a rotary. The JFK/UMass T stop will be on your right.
  • Enter the rotary and take your second right off the rotary.
  • Take an immediate hard right down a small hill to a stop light.
  • At the stop light, turn left onto Mount Vernon Street (Sovereign Bank building will be straight ahead)
  • Take an immediate left into the driveway for the Doubletree Hotel, then another left into the parking lot for the Bayside Office Center.
  • Parking is available in any of the surrounding lots.

Directions From the West:

  • Take Mass Pike to the end and get on 93 South.
  • Follow “From the North” directions above.

Directions By Public Transportation:

  • Take the T (or a bus) to the JFK/UMass T stop on the Red Line.
  • When you exit the station, walk across the pedestrian bridge toward all the bus stops.
  • Continue walking straight ahead, under the highway overpass.
  • Directly ahead of you are two office buildings—the Sovereign Bank building will be on your right, and the Bayside Office Center (Corcoran Jennison Building/Bank of America) will be on your left.
  • MetroLacrosse is located on the first floor of the Bayside Office Center, adjacent to the Doubletree Hotel.
